Originally, I was’t really sure what I should do for this video. I wanted it to be creative and fun but I also wanted it to be relevant to my life and have a personal touch. Therefore, I decided to do a vlog about my day…quarantine style. Although this has become common lately, the idea of the entire world living in quarantine seemed outlandish just a few months ago. I figured it could bring some humor and joy to people and they can compare it to their daily quarantine routines. So I began by filming snippets of my day. The majority of the filming occurred during one long day, but I filmed a few clips the day before. Then I trimmed them in my photos app and then downloaded them onto the Adobe Premiere Rush app to edit. Here, I edited by trimming more, increasing the speed of some clips, adding in transitions, changing the order of the videos and adding filters. I also added myself talking on snap with some cool filters as in intro/outro to the whole thing. Then muted all of the clips and added a voice over to add in my POV as a narrative of my thoughts/activities throughout the day. I layered another recording to add some background music. I was going to add my soundcloud but I wanted to add that personal touch and figured a soft guitar would be more fitting with the theme of the video. So, I recorded myself playing a song (and by song I mean playing whatever chords popped into my head). Then I uploaded it and overall I am proud of my video and my editing process
